General Director of Rosseti Volga, Vladimir Ryabikin, and Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region, Sergey Morozov, have held an online meeting in the form of a video conference.
The main topic of discussion was energy supply of the region during the prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection. During the conversation, Sergey Morozov praised the work of the Rosseti Group of Companies in protecting personnel health in the Ulyanovsk Region. The Governor noted that the Ulyanovsk branch of Rosseti Volga became one of the leaders among enterprises that demonstrated the most responsible approach to implementing measures to prevent the spread and prevention of infectious diseases. In turn, Vladimir Ryabikin thanked the Governor of the Ulyanovsk
Region for timely inclusion of the Company in the list of system-forming enterprises that should continue their work despite the current situation. Being a socially significant enterprise of one of the key sectors of the region economy, Rosseti Volga continues implementing all production programs to ensure reliable and high-quality power supply to consumers in the coming winter, fulfilling the order of the head of Rosseti PJSC Pavel Livinsky given during the meeting of the headquarters of the electric grid complex.
Confirmation of the fidelity of the decision and the significance of the work of the Rosseti Volga branch for the entire region was the operational work of power engineers in eliminating the consequences of a cyclone with a blizzard and squalling wind that passed over part of the Ulyanovsk Region on April 11–12 and became the cause of technological disruptions in the electricity network. Thanks to constructive interaction with regional authorities, efficient organization of work and high professionalism, the power engineers managed to quickly mobilize all resources and restore the disturbed bad weather power supply in the Inzensky and Ulyanovsky districts as soon as possible.
