In the branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (included in the “ROSSETI” PJSC group) tool place an extraordinary meeting of the headquarters under the Government of the Penza Region to ensure power supply security. Representatives of the regional and city authorities, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, “Russian Railways” JSC, supervisory services, employees of energy companies, generation enterprises, regional dispatch management, as well as distribution and territorial grid organizations took part in it.
The main issue on the agenda of the meeting was the readiness of the power industry enterprises to ensure reliable power supply for the Unified State Examination in the Penza Region from May 27 to July 1. Speakers reported on the full readiness of their enterprises to provide uninterrupted power supply for the Unified State Examination points, and in case of emergency disconnection of the main power supply, to provide quickly backup, including through the use of mobile diesel power plants. In addition, the power engineers reported on the readiness checks of the operated electrical equipment, vehicles, special equipment, duty services and “hot lines”.
During the unscheduled meeting of the regional headquarters, its participants were presented the concept of “ROSSETI” PJSC - “Digital Transformation 2030”. Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of the Penzaenergo branch, Mikhail Kozhevnikov told about the plans and benefits of introducing intelligent control systems based on digital technologies into the operation of power grid companies that are part of the “ROSSETI” PJSC .
“The implementation of this project will allow us to improve the reliability, quality and availability of services for the transmission of electricity and technological connection of consumers. In addition, the networks will become more observable, which will allow us to reduce electricity losses, as well as to effectively distribute the transformer power,” - said the power engineer.
