Valery Okulov, Aeroflot - Russian Airlines Director General became the laureate of Person of the Year Grand Prix in Nomination for �Outstanding achievements in providing competitiveness of the company on the world market and high financial results�.

The awarding ceremony took place on February 24, 2005, in the Patriarshy Palace of the Moscow Kremlin where Valery Okulov was awarded with �Russia�s Glory� Order.

Person of the Year� is a person embodying a meaningful tendency of the country development that forms Russia�s future. Professor Leonid Roshal, Doctor of Medicine, who presented the Award, highly appreciated Aeroflot contribution and V. Okulov�s personal participation in carrying out social programs of carrying invalid children and hospital staff; he appealed to business to support Russian public health.

Valery Okulov is Aeroflot-Russian Airlines Director General since May 30, 1997. He is a member of the Company Board of Directors.

He was awarded with the 3d Degree Order �For Services to the Motherland�, medals �For Accident-free Flights� and �Aeroflot Excellent Person�.
